Thomas Graditzky

Currently on mission for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Kabul (Afghanistan).
Started working for the ICRC in 1997: he first joined the Advisory Service on International Humanitarian Law, a unit at headquarters in Geneva dealing with issues relating to national implementation of this body of law; he was then posted to the field, as legal adviser for operational matters, what brought him first to Iraq and to Afghanistan and later to Tel Aviv as the coordinator at the legal department of the ICRC delegation in Israel, the Occupied and Autonomous Territories. He also worked for Avocats Sans Frontières in Brussels (Belgium) as Programme Officer Israel/Palestine.
Master's degree (diplôme d'études supérieures) in international relations (with specialization in international law) from the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva.
Participant in 1996 (364), coach in 1997, involved in the organization of the Competition since 1998.
Member of the CCJP since 2000.
